Robert Steel's career has spanned 40 years and has covered the full spectrum in the Federal marketplace from design and engineering to project management and P&L management to marketing and systems integration. He recently retired from Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) as the Assistant Vice President, Business Development. Prior to this, Mr. Steel was the General Manager, Business Development for Boeing Information Services responsible for external market directions and development of future program opportunities within the Federal Government, emphasizing programs at DISA, GSA, and OSD. Mr. Steel served as the Vice President, Marketing, Program Development, System Group; Vice President, Communications and Intelligence Activity; and Program Director, AUTODIN II for Computer Sciences Corporation. He began his professional career with Ford Aerospace Corporation. Mr. Steel is the recipient of two Federal 100 awards and holds two patents for speech processing devices. Educational credentials include a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University and graduate studies in Electrical Engineering and Business Management. |
