Dr. John Okay held executive IT positions at USDA and GSA in his 30 year federal career. His last position was Deputy Commissioner of GSA's Federal Technology Service. Following Federal service, Dr. Okay was Senior Vice President of Federal Sources, Inc. and then in 1999, founded the firm of J.L. Okay Consulting, Inc.

Dr. Okay has served as a Principal on the Council for Excellence in Government since 1999, assisted AFCEA International by serving on the Technical Committee and also chaired the IAC's Telecommunications Shared Interest Group from 1998 - 2000. His is a current board member of the National Capital Chapter of ITPA.

A three-time winner of the Federal 100 award, Dr. Okay received two Presidential Rank awards. He holds a BS degree in agriculture and graduate degrees in economics from Michigan State University

Dr. Okay provides high impact management consulting services to federal agencies and market research and business development support to private sector firms in the government IT market. The J.L.
